Hi, my name is Perla Leal.
As an artist, painting and creating provide me the best form of expression and self release imaginable. My Dia los Muertos/Day of the Dead themed artwork reflects my Mexican/ American heritage, my equality series is an out pour of my emotions as an LGBT ally, and my abstract series taps into my subconscious thoughts. Painting is my passion, but I also love making jewelry, sewing, soap making, decoupage, crochet, and I love to write poetry/short stories.
